If you have a keen interest in neurodegenerative diseases (we have a focus on MND/ALS) and are eager to learn and work with zebrafish or mice, open to develop novel techniques, and work as part of a larger team, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Our work involves the generation of transgenic zebrafish, latest CRISPR tools, implementing novel molecular tools, and performing high-end confocal microscopy. Our lab has developed advance molecular techniques to characterise cell-to-cell interactions in the zebrafish spinal cord on a single cell level and in real-time (https://doi.org/10.1007/s00401-018-1875-2; https://doi.org/10.3389/fncel.2015.00321).
